DESCRIPTION:Magic Monday: Draft and a Draft is back!  Yes we finally got draft beer (or draught for your purists out there) back online at Game Point!  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer (or signature drink of your choice).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $30 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nWe are most often drafting the most current standard set\, but you can check our social media the day of the event for any changes to that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. Hope you’ll come join us!

When you arrive just look for the “Need Players” sign and veteran game teachers like TGD organizers Russ Rupe and Rick Keuler\, co-owner of Game Point\, will help you get into a game and meet some people. \nForget the Sunday Scaries and back take the last few hours of your weekend! \nTennessee Game Days (TGD) is a regional board game convention held twice a year in Middle Tennessee.  It is a great place to bring friends and meet new ones. Likewise\, it’s a superb venue for learning a new game or teaching one that you love.  And it helped inspire Game Point!

DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed\, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. \nDescription from Boardgamegeek.com \nSounds intense\, right?  Come on out to Game Point at 6:30 pm to learn and play – we have a passionate community member to lead the event and run the games.  We’ll keep running them sequentially as long as there is interest.  There’s no fee for this event\, but plan on spending $5-10 on drinks or snacks throughout the evening.  Will you save the town?!!?

DESCRIPTION:What do you get when you combine a collectible card game with the vast Disney catalogue of characters and movies?  Disney Lorcana of course!  \nDisney Lorcana Draft Night is a challenging and fun way to play Lorcana and build your collection at the same time!  You’ll start the night with four packs of Lorcana Cards from sets across the history of the game.  You’ll open a pack\, pick a card and pass the remaining cards to your neighbor.  You’ll keep selecting cards in this way until you’ve gone through all four packs and then you will build your deck.  We’ll have three rounds of Swiss matches to round out the night with promotional cards and Lorcana pins for playing and winning matches! \nThe event costs $25 (plus tax)\, includes your first beer or latte\, and you keep all the cards you draft!

Yes we finally got draft beer (or draught for your purists out there) back online at Game Point!  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer (or signature drink of your choice).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $30 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nWe are most often drafting the most current standard set\, but you can check our social media the day of the event for any changes to that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed\, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. \nDescription from Boardgamegeek.com \nSounds intense\, right?  Come on out to Game Point at 6:30 pm to learn and play – we have a passionate community member to lead the event and run the games.  We’ll keep running them sequentially as long as there is interest.  There’s no fee for this event\, but plan on spending $5-10 on drinks or snacks throughout the evening.  Will you save the town?!!?

Likewise\, it’s a superb venue for learning a new game or teaching one that you love.  And it helped inspire Game Point!
