No reservation or fee – just come to Game Point\, grab a drink\, and we’ll get you right in a game! \nThis month’s offering is Survivor: The Tribe has Spoken – a fun\, new social deduction game where you try and survive your opponents!  Here’s a brief description of the game: \nSurvivor: The Tribe Has Spoken is meant to replicate the fun\, drama\, and excitement of the long-lived television reality show without you needing to sleep in the jungle or eat bugs. \nTo survive\, players must collect advantages\, find hidden immunity idols\, form secret alliances\, and face devastating blindsides\, while surviving Tribal Council eliminations\, in which players decide who should be voted out by using the game box as a "voting urn" in which players secretly cast votes. Cards let you look at opponents' hands\, steal cards\, manipulate votes\, declare yourself tribal council leader\, protect you from elimination\, and more. \nThe last two players standing must make a case to all eliminated players as to why they deserve the title of "Sole Survivor". \nThe game includes player cards featuring memorable contestants from the 47 seasons of Survivor that have aired as of 2024. \nHope you’ll join us!

Yes we finally got draft beer (or draught for your purists out there) back online at Game Point!  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer (or signature drink of your choice).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $30 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nWe are most often drafting the most current standard set\, but you can check our social media the day of the event for any changes to that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed\, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. \nDescription from Boardgamegeek.com \nSounds intense\, right?  Come on out to Game Point at 6:30 pm to learn and play – we have a passionate community member to lead the event and run the games.  We’ll keep running them sequentially as long as there is interest.  There’s no fee for this event\, but plan on spending $5-10 on drinks or snacks throughout the evening.  Will you save the town?!!?

SUMMARY:Magic Monday: Draft and a Draft
DESCRIPTION:Magic Monday: Draft and a Draft is back!  Yes we finally got draft beer (or draught for your purists out there) back online at Game Point!  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer (or signature drink of your choice).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $30 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nWe are most often drafting the most current standard set\, but you can check our social media the day of the event for any changes to that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. Hope you’ll come join us!

DESCRIPTION:We need a breather from all these store champs events!  Just plain sealed but with a fun set – Menagerie tonight.  For newer players this set was a wacky idea from the Keyforge team\, here’s some details: \nThey share a few basic ideas with the Unchained decks. Both types of decks can feature any house that has ever appeared in the game\, and are not legal in official tournaments. But\, that is where the similarities end. KeyForge: Menagerie decks provide their own unique KeyForge experience. Every KeyForge: Menagerie deck includes at least one of more than 50 different Menagerie packets. It’s also possible for a deck to feature several different Menagerie packets. So what’s a Menagerie packet?  \nEach Menagerie packet is a group of specific cards chosen from the entire KeyForge card pool. Each packet has a name and theme\, designed to give a deck a special feel or identify that in the past was either very unlikely\, or potentially impossible. There are many different types of Menagerie packets in the set! \nSo every player will purchase a new\, sealed Menagerie deck and then we will have a casual swiss tourney with prizes for the ultimate winner!

DESCRIPTION:In 2007\, Uwe Rosenberg’s Agricola hit the market and suddenly running a subsistence farm was the new hot thing to do.  In it\, players are a family starting out in a new farm – plant vegetables\, raise livestock\, have children\, and then raise them to help work the fields — and above all make sure that everyone can be fed throughout the game.  For the past two decades\, Agricola has been a popular game – consistently ranking in the top 50 games of all time. \nThe last Wednesday of the month\, come on out and learn Agricola or just get in a game.  It’s a great chance to try a heavier game that you might not normally get to the table.

No reservation or fee – just come to Game Point\, grab a drink\, and we’ll get you right in a game! \nThis month’s offering is Survivor: The Tribe has Spoken – a fun\, new social deduction game where you try and survive your opponents!  Here’s a brief description of the game: \nSurvivor: The Tribe Has Spoken is meant to replicate the fun\, drama\, and excitement of the long-lived television reality show without you needing to sleep in the jungle or eat bugs. \nTo survive\, players must collect advantages\, find hidden immunity idols\, form secret alliances\, and face devastating blindsides\, while surviving Tribal Council eliminations\, in which players decide who should be voted out by using the game box as a "voting urn" in which players secretly cast votes. Cards let you look at opponents' hands\, steal cards\, manipulate votes\, declare yourself tribal council leader\, protect you from elimination\, and more. \nThe last two players standing must make a case to all eliminated players as to why they deserve the title of "Sole Survivor". \nThe game includes player cards featuring memorable contestants from the 47 seasons of Survivor that have aired as of 2024. \nHope you’ll join us!

When you arrive just look for the “Need Players” sign and veteran game teachers like TGD organizers Russ Rupe and Rick Keuler\, co-owner of Game Point\, will help you get into a game and meet some people. \nForget the Sunday Scaries and back take the last few hours of your weekend! \nTennessee Game Days (TGD) is a regional board game convention held twice a year in Middle Tennessee.  It is a great place to bring friends and meet new ones. Likewise\, it’s a superb venue for learning a new game or teaching one that you love.  And it helped inspire Game Point!

DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed\, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. \nDescription from Boardgamegeek.com \nSounds intense\, right?  Come on out to Game Point at 6:30 pm to learn and play – we have a passionate community member to lead the event and run the games.  We’ll keep running them sequentially as long as there is interest.  There’s no fee for this event\, but plan on spending $5-10 on drinks or snacks throughout the evening.  Will you save the town?!!?
