DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the 2025 kickoff to our Keyforge nights.  What is Keyforge?  It is a card game created by Richard Garfield (creator of Magic: The Gathering) and features algorithmically generated decks.  What the heck does that mean? Each deck is created by a computer program and is different from every other deck sold.  The game has the feel of a collectible trading card game with none of the rare-chasing downsides.  You grab a deck\, shuffle up\, and play!  We have a robust groups of players that meet at Game Point every Thursday night – come join them! \nTonight we are focusing on getting new players involved in the game.  All first time players will be given a a deck to try out and keep!  The game is entering it’s sixth year\, which is some great staying power for something launched right before the pandemic. DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. DESCRIPTION:Magic Monday: Draft and a Draft is back!  Yes we finally got draft beer (or draught for your purists out there) back online at Game Point!  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer (or signature drink of your choice).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $30 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nWe are most often drafting the most current standard set\, but you can check our social media the day of the event for any changes to that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. Hope you’ll come join us!

DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed\, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. \nDescription from Boardgamegeek.com \nSounds intense\, right?  Come on out to Game Point at 6:30 pm to learn and play – we have a passionate community member to lead the event and run the games.  We’ll keep running them sequentially as long as there is interest.  There’s no fee for this event\, but plan on spending $5-10 on drinks or snacks throughout the evening.  Will you save the town?!!?
