DESCRIPTION:Our Magic drafting event is back.  Formerly known as Draft and a Draught – seem idea but with wider selection.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer or latte of your choice.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nCheck our social media the day of the event for that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. Hope you’ll come join us!

DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  On the second Tuesday of each month\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed\, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. \nDescription from Boardgamegeek.com \nSounds intense\, right?  Come on out to Game Point at 6:30 pm to learn and play – we have a passionate community member to lead the event and run the games.  We’ll keep running them sequentially as long as there is interest.  There’s no fee for this event\, but plan on spending $5-10 on drinks or snacks throughout the evening.  Will you save the town?!!?

DESCRIPTION:All skill levels are welcome at our monthly Chess Night at Game Point (first Tuesday of the month).  We’ll have a number of boards available for people to come in for a game.  In the before COVID times\, we had a number of people come in that had only played on the internet – and they commented how fun it was to play face to face.  You should be one of those faces! \nFor very new players\, one of our regulars won the 2020 Tennessee Open Amateur Division and would love to give some free lessons and pointers\, so come take advantage! \nChess Night happens monthly. DESCRIPTION:In 2007\, Uwe Rosenberg’s Agricola hit the market and suddenly running a subsistence farm was the new hot thing to do.  In it\, players are a family starting out in a new farm – plant vegetables\, raise livestock\, have children\, and then raise them to help work the fields — and above all make sure that everyone can be fed throughout the game.  For the past two decades\, Agricola has been a popular game – consistently ranking in the top 50 games of all time. \nThe last Wednesday of the month\, come on out and learn Agricola or just get in a game.  It’s a great chance to try a heavier game that you might not normally get to the table.

DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Game Days (TGD) is a regional board game convention held twice a year in Middle Tennessee.  It is a great place to bring friends and meet new ones.
