DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Game Days (TGD) is a regional board game convention held twice a year in Middle Tennessee.  It is a great place to bring friends and meet new ones. Likewise\, it’s a superb venue for learning a new game or teaching one that you love. \nTiny TGD will replicate the learning/teaching/meeting/friendly vibes of the event\, just at a very small scale. So come out to Game Point the last Tuesday of every month from 6:30 pm to close. DESCRIPTION:There are two unique deck games on the market right now – Keyforge and SolForge Fusion. What does a unique deck mean?  The core of each game is that there is a deck that is generated by a computer algorithm that creates a deck for you to play that is unique from any other deck that’s out there.  Then you play a card game with those decks.  It gives the feeling of a collectible card game like Magic: the Gathering or Pokemon without chasing rare cards or needing to spend a lot of money on your deck. \nTonight we are hosting a new player night for both games.  Experienced players are welcome and encouraged to come teach new players and the coach on duty will have demo decks for both games so you can try them out. As always\, there is no charge for this event but do plan to buy some food or drink when you come out to help make our events possible. \nOn Thursdays\, we forge!

DESCRIPTION:All skill levels are welcome at our monthly Chess Night at Game Point (first Tuesday of the month).  We’ll have a number of boards available for people to come in for a game.  In the before COVID times\, we had a number of people come in that had only played on the internet – and they commented how fun it was to play face to face.  You should be one of those faces! \nFor very new players\, one of our regulars won the 2020 Tennessee Open Amateur Division and would love to give some free lessons and pointers\, so come take advantage! \nChess Night happens monthly. Games happen throughout the night\, usually timed games (through chess timer phone apps).  We have a lot of sets\, so just show up\, order a drink\, and play!

DESCRIPTION:TONIGHT”S EVENT IS CANCELED.  SORRY! \nOur Magic drafting event is back.  Formerly known as Draft and a Draught – seem idea but with wider selection.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer or latte of your choice.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nTonight’s format will be Phyrexia: All Will Be One \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Game Days (TGD) is a regional board game convention held twice a year in Middle Tennessee.  It is a great place to bring friends and meet new ones. Likewise\, it’s a superb venue for learning a new game or teaching one that you love. \nTiny TGD will replicate the learning/teaching/meeting/friendly vibes of the event\, just at a very small scale. So come out to Game Point the last Tuesday of every month from 6:30 pm to close. While you can find open gaming every night at Game Point\, Tiny TGD will offer a critical mass of players for solo\ngamers to meetup and will typically include veteran game teachers like TGD organizers Russ Rupe and Rick Keuler\, co-owner of Game Point.
