SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Archon - Survival)
DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be an Archon event using the Survival format.  Each participant will be required to bring two decks for the evening’s tournament.  At the start of the event\, they will rank those decks and play the first match will their first deck.  Whenever a player loses a round\, the deck they played with is “out” and cannot be used for the remainder of the tournament.  When a player no longer has decks remaining\, they are eliminated from the tournament. \nWe ask that players spend $5 in food or drink while playing.  Winners will get some promotional Keyforge materials and the champ for the night will also win a limited edition Game Point branded Keyforge deck.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nWhile most Keyforge events at Game Point are official Chainbound Events.  This alternative format will not be an official Chainbound tournament\, so results will not be reported and your decks’ chains will not be affected.

DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft – it’s a brand new set\, an exciting time to draft! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer (or alternative drink).  This event is 21 years and up. \nWe start registering people at 6:30 and aim to get started as soon as we can\, but come out a little early for casual pick up games while you wait!

DESCRIPTION:Want to show off your epidemiology skills?  Then you need to be at Game Point for Pandemic Suvival!  From the Z-man website: \nPandemic Survival is an extreme version of Pandemic\, where teams of two players face each other simultaneously with the same objective in mind: Be the first team to find all four cures or be the sole survivor at the end of the game. \nDuring this unique Organized Play experience\, each team faces the same starting situation: identical roles\, infected cities\, and the same player cards in the same order. Only each team’s strategic choices will differentiate them and prove a winning—or losing—strategy. Further\, all tournament material was cultivated to add to the experience. \nThe winner of our Pandemic Survival Event will earn a seat at the National Championship at GenCon in August and a chance to win a trip to the World Championship.  But all it all starts local at Game Point in June! \nEach team of two needs to bring a copy of Pandemic with them to the tournament.  You’ll also probably want to make yourself familiar with the participant rules.  And finally\, you need to sign up below\, as space will be limited (only one member of the two person team needs to sign up)!  There is no entrance fee\, but we ask that participants buy some food or drink to support the event. \nCome save the world!

SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Sealed)
DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  We also ask that players spend $5 in food or drink while playing as well.  Winners will get some promotional Keyforge materials and the champ for the night will also win a limited edition Game Point branded Keyforge deck.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nMost Keyforge events at Game Point are now official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft – it’s a brand new set\, an exciting time to draft! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer (or alternative drink).  This event is 21 years and up. \nWe start registering people at 6:00 (note new earlier time) and aim to get started as soon as we can\, but come out a little early for casual pick up games while you wait!

DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s event will be an attempt at a new format – we’ll be playing a Survival format.  Each player has to bring two Keyforge decks with them to tonight’s event.  When you lose a game with one of your decks\, that deck is out of competition for the remainder of the event.  As an added challenge\, one deck must be from the Age of Ascension and the other Call of the Archons.  New meets old in a classic face off! \nArrive by 6:30 pm to register your deck and sign in. First round will start shortly thereafter.  We ask that everyone playing plan to spend a minimum of $5 in food or drink.  The tournament winner will get Keyforge Promotional materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.
