DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer (or alternative drink).  This event is 21 years and up. \nWe will be polling people at the June Draft event whether we want to draft War of the Spark or Core 2020 for this event. \nWe start registering people at 6:00 (note new earlier time) and aim to get started as soon as we can\, but you might want to be ready for casual pick up games while you wait!

DESCRIPTION:All skill levels are welcome at our monthly Chess Night at Game Point.  We’ll have a number of boards available for people to come in and get in on a pick up game.  At our last gathering\, we had a lot of people that were previously only playing over the internet – and they commented how fun it was to play face to face.  You should be one of those faces! \nChess Night happens monthly.  Pick up games happen throughout the night\, usually timed games (through chess timer phone apps).  We have a lot of sets\, so just show up and play!

DESCRIPTION:Been looking for a spot to host your campaign or just a new venue to spice it up?  Tonight is Open RPG Night at Game Point – a chance for groups to try out the cafe as an adventuring venue. \nIn addition\, for those that are RPG curious\, we will also be running an intro to role playing games using the Stranger Things D&D Adventure Starter Set.  This game is modeled after the one Mike created for his friends on Season One of the series.  One of our game coaches will lead you through a first session of this campaign so that you can get a feel for what roleplaying games are like\, or just try out the Stranger Things Adventure\, if you are curious about that.  Space is limited for event\, so please RSVP below – with a unique name and email for each spot.  If we get a lot on the waitlist we may create a second game – so if you’re interested sign up.  Thanks! \nSo come out to Game Point for RPG adventures – but remember – don’t split the party!

SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Sealed)
DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  Winner will either receive some promotional Keyforge materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nThis event at Game Point is an official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  Players also earn ambershards for participating that they can redeem for promotional items from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

SUMMARY:Magic the Gathering: Draft and Draft (War of the Spark)
DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer (or alternative drink).  This event is 21 years and up. \nWe will be polling people at the June Draft event whether we want to draft War of the Spark or Core 2020 for this event. \nWe start registering people at 6:00 (note new earlier time) and aim to get started as soon as we can\, but you might want to be ready for casual pick up games while you wait!
