DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  Winner will either receive some promotional Keyforge materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nThis event at Game Point is an official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  Players also earn ambershards for participating that they can redeem for promotional items from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer (or alternative drink).  This event is 21 years and up. \nWe will be polling people at the June Draft event whether we want to draft War of the Spark or Core 2020 for this event. \nWe start registering people at 6:00 (note new earlier time) and aim to get started as soon as we can\, but you might want to be ready for casual pick up games while you wait!

DESCRIPTION:Come join local designers and IV Studios to play a demo of their new game Moonrakers.  A Kickstarter to fund this game will be launched in early September\, but you can try it our first here at Game Point tonight! \nWhat is Moonrakers?  Here’s a little description of game play: \nMoonrakers is a game of shipbuilding\, temporary alliances\, and shrewd negotiation set in a space-faring future. The players form a loose band of mercenaries\, but while they are united in name\, actual alliances are shaky as players are pitted against each other in the quest to become the new leader of the Moonrakers. \nMoonrakers is a deck-building game in which players choose Contracts to attempt alone or with Allies in order to gain Prestige and Credits. After negotiating terms with Allies\, players use their decks of Action cards to play Thrusters\, Shields\, Weapons\, Reactors\, and Crew to fulfill the requirements on each Contract. Each type of Action card has additional effects such as extra Actions\, drawing additional cards\, and protecting players from Hazards encountered while attempting Contracts. \nIt promises to be a fun evening – come out and be on the cutting edge!

SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Sealed)
DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  Winner will either receive some promotional Keyforge materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nThis event at Game Point is an official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  Players also earn ambershards for participating that they can redeem for promotional items from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer (or alternative drink).  This event is 21 years and up. \nWe start registering people at 6:00 (note new earlier time) and aim to get started as soon as we can\, but you might want to be ready for casual pick up games while you wait!
