DESCRIPTION:Magic Monday: Draft and a Draft is back!  Yes we finally got draft beer (or draught for your purists out there) back online at Game Point!  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer (or signature drink of your choice).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $30 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nWe are most often drafting the most current standard set\, but you can check our social media the day of the event for any changes to that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  This Tuesday\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED TO FEBRUARY 6TH\nUnmatched\, from Restoration Games\, pits characters from all sorts of genres and timelines against each other in a no holds barred fight to the end.  You can pit Sherlock Holmes against Sinbad or the Invisible Man against Bruce Lee.  The game is comprised of lots of stand along expansions that you can play out of the box or between editions. It is super fun and the crew from The Game Board will be on hand to host this no holds barred tournament. You will pick a hero from across the Unmatched multiverse (including the brand new NINJA TURTLES) and face off to be the king of the hill. There will be promos and prizes given away to participants and the winners! \nIf you have never played before\, don’t let that stop you\, just get there early and The Game Board crew will give you the low down on how to play! \nHere’s some more description from the publisher: \nUnmatched is a highly asymmetrical miniature fighting game for two or four players. Each hero is represented by a unique deck designed to evoke their style and legend. Tactical movement and no-luck combat resolution create a unique play experience that rewards expertise\, but just when you’ve mastered one set\, new heroes arrive to provide all new match-ups. Combat is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards. Doing so will earn you points along the way but be mindful of the competition as each produce type will score bonus points at the end of the game for player who cornered the market! \nMarket Fresh is a stacking\, tile-placement game for 1 to 4 players. On a players turn\, they take a crate from the supply or one of the available face up crates and add it to their hand. They will then choose one of their crates from their hand to place into their stall and score points accordingly. \nPoints are scored when you place a crate into your stall. The more produce you match that is visible on your board\, the more you’ll score. DESCRIPTION:Magic Monday: Draft and a Draft is back!  Yes we finally got draft beer (or draught for your purists out there) back online at Game Point!  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer (or signature drink of your choice).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $30 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nWe are most often drafting the most current standard set\, but you can check our social media the day of the event for any changes to that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. DESCRIPTION:The sleepover was to be the greatest moment of your childhood\, until the whimpering woke you up. Is this even the right house? \n\n\nDread is a short horror role playing game where your actions are determined\, not by dice rolls\, but by your own hand eye coordination.  Game actions are controlled by how well you can manipulate a Jenga tower!  As the game goes on the mounting dread of failure climbs! \nNo need to have any experience with the game\, a member of the game point community will be running the game and teaching people to play.  There will be room for eight people\, so reserve your spot here\, or come out the night of to grab a seat or watch the game transpire! \nThere is no charge for this event\, but we ask that patrons plan to spend around $10 in food and drink when playing games at Game Point.

DESCRIPTION:Like social deduction games like Werewolf\, Avalon or Secret Hitler?  This Tuesday\, do we have the event for you!  Blood on the Clocktower night will give you the chance to try this mega social deduction game for yourself.  Here’s a little about the game: \nBlood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil\, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk. \nDuring a ‘day’ phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies\, culminating in a player’s execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a ‘night’ time\, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information\, spread mischief\, or kill. \nThe Storyteller uses the game’s intricate playing pieces to guide each game\, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed\, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. \nDescription from Boardgamegeek.com \nSounds intense\, right?  Come on out to Game Point at 6:30 pm to learn and play – the friendly folks from The Game Board YouTube channel will be on hand to help facilitate and get people into the game.  We’ll keep running them sequentially as long as there is interest.  There’s no fee for this event\, but plan on spending at least $10 on drinks or snacks throughout the evening.  Will you save the town?!!? \nThe Game Board is a Nashville-based team creating cinematic tabletop content that highlights new and underrepresented games.
