DESCRIPTION:Killjoy is a new game currently on Kickstarter.  The publisher describes it as: \nWelcome to the anti-party game!  The party game about getting out of parties. Ironically enough\, playing the party game about getting out of parties can actually improve the quality of your parties\, bringing more people in to make an attempt at getting out. We’re talking real meta here. \nIn the game you are trying to come up with excuses to get you out of your lame coworker’s party. \nIt’s simple.  Choose your Jerry (see below)\, and avoid their party at all costs by answering Jerry’s questions with mediocre excuses\, collecting aid cards\, and dishing out shade to your friends in the form of petty actions and handicaps. \nBut move quickly.. If Jerry asks all of their questions before a player dodges the party\, everyone is attending and Jerry wins. \nTo promote their new anti-party party game\, they are on a national tour of game stores and cafes\, getting the word out about their game.  This Thursday\, they’ll be at Game Point demoing their game for you to try!  Come on in\, grab a beer\, and try to get out of going to Jerry’s party!

DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck from Game Point for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  Winner will either receive some promotional Keyforge materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nThis event at Game Point is an official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  Players also earn ambershards for participating that they can redeem for promotional items from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer (or alternative drink).  This event is 21 years and up. \nWe start registering people at 6:00 and aim to get started as soon as we can\, but you might want to be ready for casual pick up games while you wait!

DESCRIPTION:You’ve heard of deck building games\, right?  Well now you need to try a DICE building game.   In Dice Forge\, players are heroes competing for the honor of the gods.  You do that by using your customizable dice to gather resources and rewards.  Each turn you will have the opportunity to fine tune your dice by removing and replacing faces of each die.  Make the right choices\, forge the right dice\, and with a little luck\, you could be the victor. \nDice Forge is a game 2-4 players that takes under an hour to play.  While supplies last\, we will have a mini expansion to the game for people that try it out tonight.  If you decide it needs to be in your personal collection\, buy it tonight and take an extra 10% off of our already low price for Dice Forge.  Demos will be going on all evening.

DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event with the new set\, Worlds Collide.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck from Game Point for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  Winner will either receive some promotional Keyforge materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nThis event at Game Point is an official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  Players also earn ambershards for participating that they can redeem for promotional items from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website. \nNew to Keyforge?  Come on out.  Everyone is super friendly and wanting to grow the community!  If the idea of playing in a tournament straight out of the gate is too much\, the coach on duty (or a player on a bye) will be happy to walk you through how Keyforge is played and play some intro games!
