DESCRIPTION:You’ve heard of deck building games\, right?  Well now you need to try a DICE building game.   In Dice Forge\, players are heroes competing for the honor of the gods.  You do that by using your customizable dice to gather resources and rewards.  Each turn you will have the opportunity to fine tune your dice by removing and replacing faces of each die.  Make the right choices\, forge the right dice\, and with a little luck\, you could be the victor. \nDice Forge is a game 2-4 players that takes under an hour to play.  While supplies last\, we will have a mini expansion to the game for people that try it out tonight.  If you decide it needs to be in your personal collection\, buy it tonight and take an extra 10% off of our already low price for Dice Forge.  Demos will be going on all evening.

SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Archon)
DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s event will be a best of one\, Archon format.  You will need to bring our own Keyforge deck to the event.  Arrive by 6:30 pm to register your deck and sign in. First round will start shortly thereafter.  We ask that everyone playing plan to spend a minimum of $5 in food or drink.  The tournament winner will get Keyforge Promotional materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card. \nThis event is an official Chainbound Event.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  In addition\, playing and winning also earns you ambershards that can be redeemed for promotional stuff from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website. \nNew to Keyforge?  Come on out.  Everyone is super friendly and wanting to grow the community!  If the idea of playing in a tournament straight out of the gate is too much\, the coach on duty (or a player on a bye) will be happy to walk you through how Keyforge is played and play some intro games!

SUMMARY:Android: Netrunner Night
DESCRIPTION:Are you a fan of the Fantasy Flight LCG Android: Netrunner?  If so\, come out to Game Point on every second Wednesday of the month for our Android: Netrunner Night.  Grab a coffee\, beer\, or snack and your favorite runner or corp deck and play some friendly matches throughout the evening.  Even if you haven’t played the game before\, but are interested\, come out and check it out – since the game is asynchronous most people have a deck of both factions so you can get introduced to the game. \nFor January\, we are going to be running a mini-competitive event.  For this event we are using the NISEI’s System Core 2019 format.  All runner and corp decks can only be constructed from the cards contained in this ‘core set’ – you can read more about the development here and the card list can be found here.  Construct and make a deck for both sides and then we will run a swiss event that evening – we have some promotional Netrunner products for the winner!
