DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck from Game Point for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  Winner will either receive some promotional Keyforge materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nThis event at Game Point is an official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  Players also earn ambershards for participating that they can redeem for promotional items from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

DESCRIPTION:Are you a fan of the Fantasy Flight LCG Android: Netrunner?  If so\, come out to Game Point on every second Wednesday of the month for our Android: Netrunner Night.  Grab a coffee\, beer\, or snack and your favorite runner or corp deck and play some friendly matches throughout the evening.  Even if you haven’t played the game before\, but are interested\, come out and check it out – since the game is asynchronous most people have a deck of both factions so you can get introduced to the game. \nFor January\, we are going to be running a mini-competitive event.  For this event we are using the NISEI’s System Core 2019 format.  All runner and corp decks can only be constructed from the cards contained in this ‘core set’ – you can read more about the development here and the card list can be found here.  Construct and make a deck for both sides and then we will run a swiss event that evening – we have some promotional Netrunner products for the winner!

SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Sealed)
DESCRIPTION:This Keyforge event will be a sealed event.  Each participant will be required to purchase a deck from Game Point for the evening’s tournament and will use that deck for the duration of the event.  Winner will either receive some promotional Keyforge materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card.  We will start taking registrations at 6:30 pm and aim to start as soon as possible there after .  Come on out and forge some keys! \nThis event at Game Point is an official Chainbound Events.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  Players also earn ambershards for participating that they can redeem for promotional items from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

SUMMARY:Magic the Gathering: Draft and a Draft (Throne of Eldraine)
DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft!  The final draft night for Throne of Eldraine! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $18 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer.  This event is 21 years and up. \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  We start registering people at 6:00 and aim to get started by 6:30 pm. DESCRIPTION:Calling all settlers to a unique event. Game Point will be hosting a qualifier for the Catan National Championships to be held at the Origins Game Fair\, June 17-21\, 2020 in Columbus\, OH. This preliminary qualifier is the first step to winning it all! \n 	We will be hosting three qualifier evenings: \n\nJanuary 22nd\nJanuary 30th\nFebruary 2nd\n\nThe top 16 players from all three of Game Point’s qualifiers will be invited back to Game Point on Monday\, February 10th for the semifinal and final games. The winner of that final game will be our representative to the Catan National Championships and have the chance to win a trip to compete in the World Championships in Malta! \nAll participants must be 18+ years of age and be a citizen or permanent resident of the country in which they are competing.  There will be a ten dollar food and / or drink minimum the evening that you participate in the qualifier.  Spots are limited\, please RSVP below with your name and email. \nQuestions?
