SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Archon)
DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s event will be a best of one\, Archon format.  You will need to bring our own Keyforge deck to the event.  Arrive by 6:30 pm to register your deck and sign in. First round will start shortly thereafter.  We ask that everyone playing plan to spend a minimum of $5 in food or drink.  The tournament winner will get Keyforge Promotional materials or a Game Point Cafe gift card. \nThis event is an official Chainbound Event.  What does that mean?  It means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  In addition\, playing and winning also earns you ambershards that can be redeemed for promotional stuff from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

SUMMARY:Magic the Gathering: Draft and a Draft (Theros Beyond Death)
DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft!  Our first draft and a draft with the new set! \nWe start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $18 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer.  This event is 21 years and up. \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  We start registering people at 6:00 and aim to get started by 6:30 pm. Six people minimum for the draft.  Hope you’ll come join us!

DESCRIPTION:In our Learn to Play events\, you can come to Game Point to learn a game with a spot already reserved.  Learn to Play events are great because you know what you’ll be playing\, when and can even come solo and get a game played!  We’ll highlight new or popular titles that we are excited to teach! \nBITOKU is a heavier game that came out this winter from Devir Games.  It will take around 120-180 minutes to play\, so be prepared for a long evening!  Here’s what the publisher has to say about the game: \nIn Bitoku\, the players take on the roles of Bitoku spirits of the forest in their path towards transcendence\, with the goal of elevating themselves and becoming the next great spirit of the forest. To do so\, they will have the help of the yōkai\, the kodamas and the different pilgrims that accompany them on their path. This is a hand-management\, engine-building game with multiple paths to victory. \nPlease RSVP with integrity and let us know if you can’t make it to get someone off the waitlist.  Our events mingle players and new people\, and Covid numbers are still elevated.  As such\, for all events in February\, we kindly suggest that every participant wear a mask.
