DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, September 5th\, Game Point is teaming up with the Nashville Guild of Extra Life to help raise money for sick kids!  Extra Life is a charity dedicate to uniting gamers of all sorts (video and tabletop) in an effort to raise money for hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network.  Gamers here in Nashville are joining together and raising money to help improve the oncology services offered by the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. \nGame Point will be donating 10% of sales that evening to the Guild’s efforts – so come out and have fun\, while helping sick kids at the same time.  Guild members will be on hand to also tell you about the other fun events they have planned this fall!

DESCRIPTION:Dardz is a dice and card game designed by local designer Scott Shirock.  Here’s a quick description from their Kickstarter campaign: \nWhen it’s your turn you roll dice to try and get certain numbers so you can add cards from your hand to your points pile. But you have to look out because other players can also add cards to their points pile during your turn! There are also 6 different action cards and a few rules to keep things interesting. It can be played with 2-8 players and you can play every man for himself\, or in teams of 2. \nScott will be on site tonight to promote his design and teach people how to play.  You can learn more about the game and help make it a reality by pledging support on the Dardz Kickstarter campaign.  Come out to support our local game design community and give Dardz a try!
