DESCRIPTION:Our Magic drafting event is back.  Formerly known as Draft and a Draught – seem idea but with wider selection.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer or latte of your choice.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $18 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and your drink. \nSet for this draft will be Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  We start registering people at 6:00 and aim to get started by 6:30 pm. Six people minimum for the draft.  Hope you’ll come join us!

SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Archon)
DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s event will be a best of one\, Archon format.  You will need to bring our own Keyforge deck to the event.  Arrive by 6:30 pm to register your deck and sign in. First round will start shortly thereafter.  We ask that everyone playing plan to spend a minimum of $5 in food or drink.  The tournament winner will get Keyforge playmat! \nI’m not sure if the Chainbound system is still active but we’ll check it out and use it if its working!  What does that mean?  If it is still working\, then it means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  In addition\, playing and winning also earns you ambershards that can be redeemed for promotional stuff from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

DESCRIPTION:All skill levels are welcome at our monthly Chess Night at Game Point (first Tuesday of the month).  We’ll have a number of boards available for people to come in for a game.  In the before COVID times\, we had a number of people come in that had only played on the internet – and they commented how fun it was to play face to face.  You should be one of those faces! \nFor very new players\, one of our regulars won the 2020 Tennessee Open Amateur Division and would love to give some free lessons and pointers\, so come take advantage! \nChess Night happens monthly. Games happen throughout the night\, usually timed games (through chess timer phone apps).  We have a lot of sets\, so just show up\, order a drink\, and play!

DESCRIPTION:May the Fourth be with you! \nWe are celebrating all things Star Wars and pulling out all the stops for our May the Fourth Celebration.  Grab a blue milk and participate in one or all of these events! \nStar Wars Rebellion and Outer Rim Demonstrations – from 6 pm to 7 pm we’ll have Rebellion and Outer Rim set up in the shop for people to check out.  We’ll be giving continuous demos on how they are played – just an overview of the game so you can see how they play. \nStar Wars Trivia – Wits and Wagers Style – it’s trivia time starting at 7 pm.  Register your team and compete in our Star Wars Trivia compeittion.  Rather than just normal pub trivia we will be doing a Wits and Wagers style game – we’ll teach you how to play before we start – super easy and super fun\, you won’t want to miss this! \nJabba’s Palace Love Letter Tournament – after Wits and Wagers\, around 8 pm\, we’ll be having a Jabba’s Palace tournament – a quick and easy Star Wars game based on everyone’s favorite gangster slug! \nCome out to our game cafe in a galaxy not so far away!
