DESCRIPTION:Our Magic drafting event is back.  Formerly known as Draft and a Draught – seem idea but with wider selection.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer or latte of your choice.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nCheck our social media the day of the event for that night’s format! \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. SUMMARY:Magic Monday: Draft and a Drink
DESCRIPTION:Our Magic drafting event is back.  Formerly known as Draft and a Draught – seem idea but with wider selection.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer or latte of your choice.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (plus tax) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs you win\, and your first drink. \nTonight’s format will be announced at a later date. \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  Six people minimum for the draft.  We start gathering at 6 pm and registering people as soon as we have six folks.  Then we aim to get started as close to 6:30 pm as we can. Hope you’ll come join us!

DESCRIPTION:We’re are bring back the successful and super fun Sealed Grab Bag event.  At the start of the event\,  you’ll pay $10 for a Keyforge deck and then you’ll reach into a bag and grab a sealed deck.  That’s your deck for the evening’s tournament.  The twist is that the grab bag is full of decks from lots of different Keyforge sets!  We’ll play some Swiss pairing games – each win gets you an entry in the night’s door prize drawing. \nOn Thursdays\, we forge!

SUMMARY:Keyforge / SolForge Fusion - New Player Night
DESCRIPTION:There are two unique deck games on the market right now – Keyforge and SolForge Fusion. What does a unique deck mean?  The core of each game is that there is a deck that is generated by a computer algorithm that creates a deck for you to play that is unique from any other deck that’s out there.  Then you play a card game with those decks.  It gives the feeling of a collectible card game like Magic: the Gathering or Pokemon without chasing rare cards or needing to spend a lot of money on your deck. \nTonight we are hosting a new player night for both games.  Experienced players are welcome and encouraged to come teach new players and the coach on duty will have demo decks for both games so you can try them out. As always\, there is no charge for this event but do plan to buy some food or drink when you come out to help make our events possible. \nOn Thursdays\, we forge!

DESCRIPTION:All skill levels are welcome at our monthly Chess Night at Game Point (first Tuesday of the month).  We’ll have a number of boards available for people to come in for a game.  In the before COVID times\, we had a number of people come in that had only played on the internet – and they commented how fun it was to play face to face.  You should be one of those faces! \nFor very new players\, one of our regulars won the 2020 Tennessee Open Amateur Division and would love to give some free lessons and pointers\, so come take advantage! \nChess Night happens monthly. Games happen throughout the night\, usually timed games (through chess timer phone apps).  We have a lot of sets\, so just show up\, order a drink\, and play!

DESCRIPTION:In 2007\, Uwe Rosenberg’s Agricola hit the market and suddenly running a subsistence farm was the new hot thing to do.  In it\, players are a family starting out in a new farm – plant vegetables\, raise livestock\, have children\, and then raise them to help work the fields — and above all make sure that everyone can be fed throughout the game.  For the past two decades\, Agricola has been a popular game – consistently ranking in the top 50 games of all time. \nThe last Wednesday of the month\, come on out and learn Agricola or just get in a game.  It’s a great chance to try a heavier game that you might not normally get to the table.
