DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a draft beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer. \nWe aim to get started between 6:30 and 7:00\, but come out a little early for casual pick up games while you wait! \nWhether you are currently into Magic\, or looking to have some fun with the game that you loved to play back in middle school (high school?) (college?) – come on out for an evening of mana and memories. \n(As long as we have six players we will hold the draft.  Must be 21 or over to play.)

SUMMARY:Qualifier for US Catan National Championships - Preliminary Round
DESCRIPTION:Game Point is once again hosting a qualifier for the US Catan National Championships.  We will be holding three preliminary rounds: \n\n– Tuesday\, January 22\, 6:30 pm\n– Tuesday\, January 29\, 6:30 pm\n– Sunday\, February 17\, 5:30 pm\n\nYou can play in one\, two or all three preliminary rounds – the 16 highest scoring players will be invited back to Game Point on February 19th for the semi-finals and final games. Top scoring players will receive Catan promotional materials and the winner of each preliminary tourney will receive a $25 Game Point Gift Card for future visits. \nThe overall winner on the 19th will win admission to the Origins Game Fair in Columbus\, OH\, June 12-16\, 2019 and a guaranteed seat at the 2019 Catan US Nationals Tournament. The Game Point winner will also join the other Qualifier Champions and Catan Studio for a celebratory dinner on Saturday night of Origins. (The Catan US National Champion will move on to the 2020 Catan World Championship\, location and dates to be announced at a later date.) \nWe will start registration at 6 pm and the games will begin at 6:30 pm. Each preliminary round will consist of three games of Catan. Each participant is asked to spend a minimum of $10 in food and drink during the course of the event. DESCRIPTION:Due to us not receiving any new Keyforge product this month\, we have had to change our format\, but we are excited about the change.  Instead of a sealed tournament this month\, we will host the first of what we hope will be regular Chainbound Keyforge events.  Chainbound is the new organized play system built around Keyforge that will handicap decks and shift the meta over the course of weekly play.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website. \nYou will need to bring a Keyforge deck to the event.  Arrive around 6:30 pm to register your deck and sign in.
