DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, September 5th\, Game Point is teaming up with the Nashville Guild of Extra Life to help raise money for sick kids!  Extra Life is a charity dedicate to uniting gamers of all sorts (video and tabletop) in an effort to raise money for hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network.  Gamers here in Nashville are joining together and raising money to help improve the oncology services offered by the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. \nGame Point will be donating 10% of sales that evening to the Guild’s efforts – so come out and have fun\, while helping sick kids at the same time.  Guild members will be on hand to also tell you about the other fun events they have planned this fall!

DESCRIPTION:All skill levels are welcome at our monthly Chess Night at Game Point.  We’ll have a number of boards available for people to come in and get in on a pick up game.  At our last gathering\, we had a lot of people that were previously only playing over the internet – and they commented how fun it was to play face to face.  You should be one of those faces! \nChess Night happens monthly on the second Monday of the month.  Pick up games happen throughout the night\, usually timed games (through chess timer phone apps).  We have a lot of sets\, so just show up and play!

DESCRIPTION:Come out to Game Point for a Draft and a Draft.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a draft beer from one of the many craft beers we have on tap (or a Kombucha or Nitro Coffee or . . . we have options).  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $20 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and a draft beer.  Last chance to draft Magic 2019 at Game Point! \nWe aim to get started between 6:30 and 7:00\, but come out a little early for casual pick up games while you wait! \nWhether you are currently into Magic\, or looking to have some fun with the game that you loved to play back in middle school (high school?) (college?) – come on out for an evening of mana and memories. \n(As long as we have six players we will hold the draft.  Must be 21 or over to play.)
