SUMMARY:Keyforge Organized Play (Archon)
DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s event will be a best of one\, Archon format.  You will need to bring our own Keyforge deck to the event.  Arrive by 6:30 pm to register your deck and sign in. First round will start shortly thereafter.  We ask that everyone playing plan to spend a minimum of $5 in food or drink.  The tournament winner will get Keyforge playmat! \nI’m not sure if the Chainbound system is still active but we’ll check it out and use it if its working!  What does that mean?  If it is still working\, then it means that we will register each deck before play begins.  The results of the tournament are reported back to the Fantasy Flight servers and decks are handicapped based on how well they have done.  In essence\, this helps to create a fluid meta around the game.  In addition\, playing and winning also earns you ambershards that can be redeemed for promotional stuff from Fantasy Flight Games.  So you’ll want to have downloaded the Keyforge app and have set up your personal account on the app before the tournament begins.  You can read more about the format on Fantasy Flight Keyforge Website.

SUMMARY:Magic: The Gathering - Draft and a Drink
DESCRIPTION:Our Magic drafting event is back.  Formerly known as Draft and a Draught – seem idea but with wider selection.  We start off with a Magic the Gathering booster draft\, then add on to that a beer or latte of your choice.  Top that off with three rounds of Swiss with the deck you drafted\, each match win getting you a bonus pack.  It all adds up to a fun\, fun night.  $18 (tax incl.) gets you the cards for the draft\, any prize packs\, and your drink. \nSet for this draft will be announced closer to the event. \nThis isn’t Wizard Play sanctioned and usually is pretty laid back – a great way to play some Magic\, especially if you haven’t played in a while.  We start registering people at 6:00 and aim to get started by 6:30 pm. Six people minimum for the draft.  Hope you’ll come join us!

DESCRIPTION:Fantasy Flight has three solid and well regarded Living Card Games – Akrham Horror\, Lord of the Rings  and Marvel Champions.  (A Living Card Game is one that is expandable with new content but not collectible – you don’t have to chase rare cards\, etc.)  All are cooperative.  We are setting aside the 3rd Tuesday of each month for people that are into any of these games to get a chance to play with other people.  Some come on out and bring whatever deck\, scenario or campaign you’d love to play.  We hopefully will grow this evening for people to get a chance to play these great games with new folk!
