Catan 2025 National Championship Preliminary Qualifier

Calling all settlers to a unique event. Game Point will be hosting a qualifier for a seat at the 2025 Catan National Championships (to be held in the summer of 2025, date and location to be announced). This preliminary qualifier is the first step to winning it all!

We will be hosting three qualifier evenings:

• Friday, May 9th
• Sunday, May 18th
• Thursday, May 22nd

The top 16 players from all three of Game Point’s qualifiers will be invited back to Game Point on Sunday, June 1 at 7 pm for the semifinal and final games. You can participate in multiple qualifier nights, but only your best night will be counted for the standings. The winner of that final game will be our representative to the Catan National Championships and have the chance to win a trip to compete in the World Championships in 2027!

We will gather at 6 pm to check in people that are registered with the goal of starting promptly at 6:30 pm – we will play three games of Catan in each preliminary round. Full tournament rules can be found on the Catan website.

ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be residents of the United States and be 18+ years of age by the date of CATAN Nationals. Winners of 2024-2025 season Qualifier Tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events leading up to the next National Championship. All entrants are asked to spend at least a ten dollar food and / or drink minimum during the course of the evening that you participate in the qualifier.
