Game Point Olympiad

If you are like us and are going through serious Winter Olympics withdraw – this event is for you.  Bring out a team of players to compete in the first Game Point Board Game Olympiad!  A team of four players will represent their “country” in a variety of game events.

The events will include three rounds.  In each round, one of your team members must compete in one of that round’s games.  Doing well in your event will earn points for your team and the most decorated team will be crowned our victor and receive Game Point gift card prizes!

Round One: Modern Strategy – Four modern classics occupy this round.  Games will include Catan, Ticket to Ride, Splendor and Caracassonne.

Round Two: The Dice Hate Me – This round will require you to apply strategy to random results.  Games will include Can’t Stop, Las Vegas, King of Tokyo, and Qwixx.

Round Three: Lighter Fare – Quick family games take on a different feel with pride on the line.  Games will include Chicken Cha Cha Cha, Rhino Hero Super Battle, Don’t Break the Ice, and Doctor Microbe.

We can’t promise victory and glory but we can promise an evening of laughter and fun!  We will teach games, if needed, or stop by during the month and get in some training. Participating is free – eating and drinking is mandatory. 🙂  Join us on the 29th – registration will start at 6 pm, games at 6:30 pm.
